0. Who This Level is For

Level 2 is geared towards an established program with a developing drumline. If your show tunes in the past primarily consisted of repeating phrases and rock beats, and you’re looking to demonstrate a stronger musical and rudimental vocabulary, Level 2 is the place for you.

You might be in a Novice class in your local competition circuit. In Level 2, we expand upon the basic exercises in Level 1 to include more split parts in the bass drums, incorporate dynamics, and focus on more rudimental drumming to develop the skills and musicianship of your performer.

All of the lessons, considerations, and advice from Level 1 still apply. As your student’s drumming skills improve, so much your skills as an instructor.
